Special Recognition for our Board Members

Congratulations to the following members of the Friends of the Nature Center Board of Directors for their achievements in conservation. George Bristol was recently recognized for his lifelong advocacy of parks with the establishment of a fund administered through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation to support continuing education for park employees. Grants from the George Bristol Texas Parks Leadership Fund will help Texas Parks and Wildlife Department staff attend national leadership training programs. And board member Will Rodgers has been appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Board of Directors of the Trinity River Authority. His term will expire on March 15, 2021. Congratulations on these honors!
